How does the Dead Heat rule work?
If you placed a bet on a participant who ties with another (or several others), your winnings will be proportional to the number of participants sharing that position.
Simple example:
Let’s say:
You placed a 100 RON bet on player X at odds of 4.00 to finish in the Top 3.
In the end, 4 players tied for 2nd place.
Only 3 places are paid (Top 3), but 4 players are occupying that position.
How winnings are calculated in a Dead Heat scenario:
- The stake is divided by the number of tied participants:
➤ 100 RON / 4 = 25 RON eligible stake - That partial stake is paid at full odds:
➤ 25 RON x 4.00 = 100 RON winnings - The remaining stake (75 RON) is considered lost.
